Electromagnetic Radiation
Electromagnetic fields (EMF) are invisible electrical and magnetic forces radiating from all things that operate on an electrical current. These fields emitted from man made devices operate at a broad range in the electromagnetic spectrum (60Hz - 15,000Hz+) and have been known to be detrimental to ones health.
Non-ionizing radiation is caused by:
- Electrical power lines utilizing AC electrical current
- Electrical appliances
- High voltage generators, high tension wires, power stations, transformers
- Microwave towers
- Radio, TV, computer terminals
- Electric blankets
- Steel pipes, reinforcement bars, that conduct an electrical current
- Fluorescent lighting
- Underground transport systems
- Ionizing Radiation is caused by:
- Nuclear plants and fallout
- X-Rays
